Go ahead, have a read... I need criticisms!!

Christmas

Bah, humbug.

I can't help it. Yes, woo, Christmas, exciting, presents and oh so much GREED. wantwantwantwantwantwant. Yeah, I have a Christmas list, because mum wanted me to write one. You know what's on it? Two books and a pair of wellies.

Occasionally I'll get excited; I'm going home, back to see my friends! I've bought them presents, an we'll be going out for a drink, and Izy will be coming to spend New Year with me... But Christmas day itself? No. No, I'd rather not.

There's a HOLE, a giant gaping WOUND in everything and it just won't heal. Nov 26th, he died; Dec 25th, Christmas without him; 31st dec-1st Jan, New Year without him; 6th Jan, a birthday he'll never reach; 11th Jan, a birthday he'll never be part of. And then on Feb 14th, Kay gave up. She just didn't want to live without her nephew here; not even her nephew's children could keep her in this world.

So many dates, events, attempting and failing joviality through it all. I can't keep pretending. I miss Dad too much.

I hate Christmas.
